About Me

Hi, I'm Graeme Copland — the guy behind the lens here at Total Eclipse Creative. I'm a husband to an amazing wife, Kirby, and a proud dad to our two boys, Kiptyn and Soryn, who keep us on our toes! We live a busy, animal-filled life with four horses, two dogs, and a cat — they’re a huge part of our world.

Photography became part of my journey thanks to Kirby. She started out with a Nikon D3500, which Kiptyn is now picking up, and captured memories during our family trips to the ski hill. We later upgraded to the D750, and eventually the Z6II, which has been my go-to camera ever since I started shooting more seriously.

My passion lies in sports photography. I played lacrosse for 14 years and have been coaching for the past 10. That experience has really helped me capture the fast-paced action of lacrosse and hockey in a unique way. I've also had the chance to do some lifestyle shoots with Kirby, including her maternity shoot and even a special horse boudoir session she dreamed up — it's been an incredible ride over these past four years.

Every day behind the camera is a chance to learn, grow, and tell new stories — and I’m excited to keep learning from every experience, shoot, and platform.
